The trending news over last week has it that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) was probing Nigeria’s Pop Artiste Davido over his music video (Fan mi).
Recently, his Manager Kamal Ajiboye explains the video.
According to Davido’s Manager, Kamal Ajiboye, the suspected hard drug in the video was yam flour. He added that it was used to prepare pounded yam to be eaten with vegetable soup as can be seen in one of the scenes in the video.
He further said that the video entails showing people that they can also make money from Yam flour and stop drug trafficking.
“The story is basically to dissuade people from trafficking hard drugs.
The purpose of the video is to let the audience know that since some people are making money from hard drugs, they can also make a lot of money by selling yam flour.
The yam flour was well projected in the video.
It was finally prepared as a meal of pounded yam to be eaten with vegetable soup in one of the scenes in the same video.”
He finally said that enemies of the star artiste just wanted to cause unnecessary controversy over the video.
