Mavin Dynasty Boss,Don Jazzy has finally spoken up about the perceived rift between he and Former label Mate cum best friend, D’banj.
He attributed the news of his publicized rift with D’banj to fans of the Mo’ Hits label and the media especially..
The Hit producer revealed this during an exclusive interview with City People, where he also spoke about their present relationship and possibility of their collaborating soon.
“I keep saying that, the problem you guys think we had was caused by both the press and our fans, because we were alright.
D Banj is working, I am working, we can meet up. We can gist, laugh and whatever” Don Jazzy told the soft sell magazine.
Stressing that there is no beef between the two of them, Don Jazzy said there is nothing stopping him from doing a song with D’banj.
But he still pointed out that he still has his hands full with Mavin artistes; than to think of producing music outside his label.
“Yes and no, I am not losing anything. I have many artistes at hand right now. I’m a producer; my work is to look for artistes. If I want to sign more, I will. There is no doubt that he is a huge and successful entertainer, but then there is no glory in actually working with huge people. I like bringing up people,” he said.
The Former Label mates recently had a sort of reconciliation at the MTV MAMA Awards last month, July 2015, where D’banj dedicated his awards to Don Jazzy.
A few days later D’banj went to Don Jazzy’s mansion to a play a game of FIFA with Dr. Sid.
